Lockdown ??

It's day 18 of my first shot at hatching. I know you are supposed to lockdown at day 18 but I just read somewhere that lockdown starts at the END of the day 18. So when do I start lockdown please.

I always lockdown on day 18; I don't think the exact time matters. Good luck with your hatch!

I do mine any time day 18 and have no problems with it I generally fit it in when I have time.

Can I ask is lockdown the same time for duck eggs?

Duck eggs are not the same incubation period as chickens. Duck eggs are 28 days so lockdown would be day 25 for ducks
