I have a Buff Orp roo who is an over aggressive mater, so has to live in a separate coop w/ run, which happens to be really tiny. We have about 1 1/2 feet of snow right now, which he won't go out in. How do your chickens get exercise in the winter?

We dont have heavy snow here, built him a small pen, and he will come out when he wants too! . Or let him free range while hens are in pen. most chickens do well in snow.

My 6 stay inside a 6 x 8 metal shed.I open the door by 8am,but they won't go out.They eat,drink,lay eggs,and hop around the straw bales.
