I am aware that sometimes your lead hen will crow. That doesn't make it any less funny though! It sounds like a scream, a cough, and what sounds like she's spitting up a hairball! (featherball?)
LOL she is so funny! her name is Calico and she looks like a dirty gray even though she is a White Rock. She also weighs like 15 pounds and she is only 7 months! here she is as a 2 month-old pullet.
