LOL!!! well for an update, he hadnt figured out how to roost with his socks on, and he decided to nest with the (now we know) BROODY -sigh- hen,

Chances are very good he can't roost with the sock on. The whole deal with roosting is grip and the feet locking onto the roost. To much movement between his feet and claws and the socks. Bet he's gonna forget how to be a rooster. He's been shamed!

he can roost just fine with them on, just took him a day to figure it out, took them off though they werent really helping, Oh and hes DEFINITELY not forgotten how to be a rooster.. today he just randomly (first time maybe we'll get some chicks

) tried to breed with out EE, was in the house though and he was wearing a diaper but at least hes trying, we got them a while ago so I've been waiting to get chicks! I kept telling him to breed but up until now he was ignoring me
