Lone guinea... companion?

I know I shouldn't count my chicks before they hatch, but...
I have one (of 2) guinea eggs developing nicely. If it hatches, It will be the only guinea I have.
Should I keep it with the chickens?
I also have peafowl. Will it get along better with the peafowl?
I just want to have a plan so that when it hatches, I know where it'll eventually be going.
The peas are 2 months old & will be wintering in an elaborate set-up in my den. I have chicken & ducks & quail hatching with this guinea. I could easily put it in the "nursery coop" with the chickens when they go out.
Originally, I was going to keep it with my peas when they hatched, but I ended up with 2 pea egg blood rings. So, no new peas this year.
This is my first time with a guinea. Where should I put it?

I guess I'll put it in the "nursery" with the LF chicks that hatch in this set.
The ducks are going into the barn for the winter.

I have one guinea. She thinks she is a chicken

She was raised with about 50 other guineas but she was the only one of them who would eat, hang out, and sleep with the chickens. So, when I bought the chickens from the man I took the guinea with me. She is happy being a 'chicken' LOL

I kept my keets in a mixed flock of chickens and quail. They have 2 chicken chicks that hang out with them, and since I moved some of my quail to the small chicken coop the guineas are trying their hardest to get in it!

I have heard of a few people having issues with keets killing chicks but 1 keet shouldn't be a problem. I have a few keets in with older chicks and haven't had any issues. Those chicks are a rather rowdy bunch of probably mostly roosters though and 1 hen with a bad leg that puts everyone in their place frequently.

I have a guinea that was raised with guineas, but likes to hang out with the chickens! I don't think you will have a problem.

BTW, I'm happy to hear you got your peafowl Paganbird

I was on a hatching thread with you back in the spring - I had the Pilgrim goose eggs that were duds. I still don't have my geese

I did hatch out some guinea eggs after that, and they are all doing well!

The only thing I would caution against is that the keets are SO much smaller than the chicks, unless they are bantams. I didn't see where you mentioned the breed. I keep my guineas separated until they start getting some feathers, just because I am worried about the chicks picking on them. After that, I keep them together. Mine do great together and free range and roost together.

That's ok. I have 15 button quail, 20 cortunix quail, 1 guinea, 2 duck, 2 LF salmon faverolle chicken, 2 mille fleur d'uccle bantam, 2 LF EE chicken, and 3 polish chicken (1 blue, 1 white crested black, 1 silver penciled) eggs in the 'bator.
I have a large fowl coop and a bantam coop - all chickens go into one of those 2 main coops for the winter. I have a "nursery coop" that is in the barn. That's where the cortunix are going. The peas are inside for the winter. I guess the buttons will be in one of the brooders inside for the winter as well.
I guess I'll put the new chicken chicks & the guinea in the LF coop. I usually keep them in the house for about 6 weeks. There is enough room to separate them from the "big girls" if need be.
