Lone pea hen; Advice on introducing another?

I'm writing on behalf of Flannery, a lone pea hen at the farm where I work.

She is the only one of her species here, and she wanders around by herself, often watching the group of chickens together from right against their fence, and seeking out glass doors to look at herself in for hours. Upon researching peafowl, I read that they are very social creatures, and that it's unkind to have only one.

We would like to get her a friend, either a mate (peacock) or fellow pea hen. Has anyone had experience introducing two adult peafowl to one another? (Especially when one has been on the turf/territory for a few years already?) Any advice, feedback, anything to be cautious about? Your responses would be appreciated.

Thanks!

P.S. She is laying eggs, we just discovered. She has made a little nest and there are two eggs in it; we think this is new behavior.

I have never had a issue introducing Peafowl to each other, They seem to get a long from the start, I have introduced 8 birds together so far.
