I'm at the end of my hatch and have one last chick in the incubator. It's lonely and has been chirping pretty much constantly unless its sleeping. It hatched about 10 hours ago.

I want to move it to the brooder with the others so it won't be lonely, but it's not fully dry or very steady yet. (It's pretty humid in the bator)

Should I try moving it yet? I'm worried that the stress of being alone will cause pasty butt or something, but I also don't want it to be trampled in the brooder.

ten hours should be enough time to dry..
That’s what I thought too! Humidity was high for a a bit - about 80%. I was able to lower it and now it’s about 65%.
My first chicks were still a bit damp when I moved them to the brooder because they were super active and ready to be moved. The dried in an hour or so. But the oldest chicks are 3 days old now so they're much bigger than this little one.

I put her in the brooder just for a few minutes as a test, and she was so much calmer! But I'm pretty bsure she would be trampled if I put her back in.
