Lonely chick.

Hey guys,

I have a single chick that was born yesterday, I've transferred him to the brooder but he is pretty lonely. I have a separate brooder with chicks born the 21st of Sept. Is it possible I can take a smaller chick from that batch and pair them up? I don't want him to be lonely and his chirping is breaking my heart.

All and any advice is welcome

I'd give the chick a mirror for company and wait until it is at least a week old and more mobile before trying it with the others.

I've heard sometimes people give them a stuffed animal or something else to cuddle with. The mirrors definitely help for a little while, as well.
