Lonely hen? What’s going on here?

I have my broody with her babies in the chicken tractor and the other hens have been curious. We have a small dog that runs the yard so it’s not typical to see my hens just laying in the yard. This hen has been staying near the coop lately but not acting broody.

She's probably feeling maternal. Another option is the mom hen is her buddy.
