Long Beaks

Hi

I have a few cochin bantams and 2 of them keep getting really long beaks and nails. The other 1 is fine.

They free range all day and are shut up at night. Is there anything i can do to encourage them to file their beaks down themselves? I have resorted to giving them a trim every now and again to keep them from deforming. I have also placed a slab in their house for them to scratch at.

Any help would be much appreciated.
