(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve wanted chickens for almost 4 years now and got first chicks in March of this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10
(3) What breeds do you have? Pita pinta Asturiana, Ayam cemani, French black copper Marans, Easter egger, speckled Sussex, barred rock, silver laced Wyandotte, polish.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love their personalities and hanging out with them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Collecting House plants, hand woven pieces and mugs
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a mother of 4(1 girl & 3 boys). I have my cosmetologist license. Have 4 ducks (2 Swedish blue & 2 Pekin), 2 dogs (1 German Shepherd & 1 French bulldog) and 1 bearded dragon. It’s a funny farm here lol!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found byc in March 2020 when googling a million questions lol. I decided to finally join so I could interact with chicken/ bird pros!
