Hi There! I am a new member from New York

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My family had chickens and turkeys when I was a kid, but only raised for meat. I never was able to experience the thrill of a fresh egg or chicks hatching. 2 years ago, my wife and I decided to change that...6 straight run RIR chicks and 2 Golden Comet pullets came home with us and thus began our adventure.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Not Enough...My wife would say too many...

(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Golden Comets Hens, 4 RIR Hens, 1 Dominque Mix Roo, 1 Partridge Silkie Hen (Mix?), 1 Black Silkie Hen (Mix?), 1 Black Silkie Roo (Mix?), 3 White Silkie Chicks, 5 Blue Silkie Chicks, 2 RIR Chicks, 4 Silkie (Mix?) Chicks, 7 Assorted Bantam Chicks, and a bunch of packing peanuts...
