Long time reader of Backyard Chickens

I just wanted to come in and say hi. After a long break from having chickens the time came to get a new flock for our kids to enjoy.

We have started out with a mixed assortment of chickens. We have 6 silkie pullets in one pen with a Pekin Bantam Rooster.

Then we have 13 chicks about four weeks old in a second pen. We have 2 x SLW, 4 x GLW, 5 Pekin Bantams and 2 Belgian D'Uccles.

We have been watching our new chicks to see how many are going to turn out to be roosters with great excitement.

Our most loved chicken so far is our Pekin Bantam rooster. He has become a little attached to my daughter which is rather cute.
