Not really. Excellent egg production isn't related to long life, rather the opposite. And most breeders of many breeds use birds under two years of age, at most, so longevity isn't being selected for in these bloodlines.
Our oldest birds have been hens: two small black Jersey Giants, and a couple of Belgian d'Uccles. Right now my eldest are six years of age.
We free range, so predation has been a problem sometimes too.
Pick birds that look interesting, feed quality fresh feed, have good housing, and see how things go.
A Cubalaya breeder I've met said some of his birds have reached 16 or 17 years of age! Beautiful birds, not great egg layers.
