I just couldn't help myself; he's just so darn cute! I just love his little face. I ordered 11 pullets and one was accidently a roo. That's OK, we'll keep him at the bay with the other chickens. I hope he stays sweet - we'll see!

I have a soft spot for BO roos. They are so pretty! Wish I could have one, but my neighbors would hate me. So I stick with the girls for now.

He will be adorable at 4:00 a.m. - he'll be 3 miles away from my house with the other chickens in the country! No neighbors to bother, thank goodness...

I personally find rooster crows very comforting. Probably because it reminds me of good times I had in high school in the FFA. Its just one of those sounds that brings back fond memories.

Plus I am really not a night person...and it makes me happy knowing the sun is rising.

I stopped hearing my roosters crow a long time ago. You get used to it. It becomes a part of your life and it is comforting.

We can't keep ours...it's illegal where we live. You're so lucky, enjoy him! There's something just so right about a flock with their rooster.
