A man was selling this cage for $50, he said he paid over $1000 to have it made, and he was breeding persian cats in it. I guess he had no use for it after a while and we were blessed with this beauty. It is about 6ft tall, 8 ft wide and about 3 feet deep.

This is Saffron, my Hollland Lop Doe, she uses the litterbox so that is where she is sitting here.

This is my daughter Maya sitting in it to give you an idea of it's size.

Thanks guys. Like I said, this cage was really a blessing and right when we needed it too. I was so happy with the cage that I offered the man one of Saffron's kits, if she ever has them! She is due on the 23rd so a few more days!

Jeepers, that sure is a nice unit. looks like it is 3 levels? I wish I could find something like that around here. I guess I'll just have to go and build my own unit for my bunnies. I have a brown rex doe and a black buck. The first batch of kits from them is now 4 weeks old. When do I wean the babies from Mom? Do it now or wait until the kits are 8 weeks old?

I've heard that it is best to do it slowly, take two that are doing well away from mom by 7 weeks and if you have a runt keep it with the mom until it is weaned. I guess the idea is to let the milk supply come to a slow hault. By 7 weeks they should be eating hay (alfalfa) eating pellets, drinking water.
Be careful because a 8 week old buck can and will sometimes breed to his mom, this is not bad, unless you don't want any kits, but do not let siblings breed.
I'd like to invite you to rabbitsonline.com a forum much like this one but for the rabbit obsessed. lol There are many helpful people there who know a whole lot more than me.
