Look don’t touch question

I know there will likely be bumps but I’m so pleased with how it’s gone. The second I trusted that they would work it out themselves it went much smoother and faster!

Yay! They do figure it out, and then integrate into a happy flock. My oldest hens still tend to stick together. The pullets don’t care much. Except two that tend to be inseparable. My rooster snuggles with all of them.

In case this wasn’t mentioned, it’s a good idea to have several feed and water stations just in case the older girls get a bug up their butt and chase the littles away when they want to eat.

Yes, I do have two stations set up. I built a platform and the little ones tend to eat undisturbed up there but they will share the main feeding station as well but they tend to vacate immediately whenever the big girls come around. Thank you!
