Look how big I grow...so fast too!

We picked up 2 Welsummers and 1 EE a week ago today from Meyer's Hatchery. My dd thought it would be cute to see the chick up against a prop, so we used her Eifel Tower statue for height comparison. The fist picture was taken when the EE chick was about 24 hours old. The next was when she was only 1 week old (today). Look how much taller and more feathered she is in only one week! They sure grow fast

After week between week 2 and 3 they go through a radical change! they totally change tripple the size and feathers too.
Oh and great idea on the tower thingy I should try that.
