First off let me say I'm an Accountant, not a builder! So I'm very slow at building anything.
I drew up my plans for this on graph paper, figured out the material cost (just under $80), and then went to work yesterday building it. It took many hours. LOL!
It's 8' long by 3' tall, has a 2' door which is 2' from the right end. The left end is open (you can see the support bar that I used to make it square) - this end will attach to a pre-fab coop that I purchased at TSC last weekend (bottom picture). The hardware cloth is 1/2" mesh x 36" (used a 25' and 5' rolls). 13 qty 1" x 2" and some hardware for the door.
This will give my 4 girls lots of room to have fun (about 13 feet x 3 feet).
