Look what I found in my nestbox this evening

Didn't mean to start controversy. Just a reminder though, this baby possum was nearly dead when I found it. We left it alone for a bit, I carried the nest box out of the chicken pen, tried picking it up, left it alone some more, tipped the nest box over to get it out. Maybe the mother had been killed, or it fell off her back, can't say, all I DO KNOW is that this possum definitely was not going to make it much longer. Its definitely not the first possum I've removed from my yard, nor will it be the last. They get put on the other side of the fence, out of my fenced yard, so they may go back into the bushes where they probably came from.
