Looking for 1 pullet or hen - Alameda, California

One of our hens just passed away. We are looking for a young female. Idealy, we would like to rescue one. From my experience, it's not easy to find rescue hens. So, we would at least like to get a young bird from someone that hand raises them and gives them lots of love. So if there is anyone near us that has a hen in need of a home or raises them, please let me know. We are in Alameda, Ca.
