Looking for a few Black East Indies eggs / SC

Hi! I'm looking for a few Black East Indies eggs to pick up or to be shipped to SC.
I have a lovely BEI drake I hatched last year and I need to hatch (or find) a girlfriend for him.

Hi Lisa! Thanks, but those are different breed.
The black East Indies are bantam ducks --- little ittybitty guys.
The black Runners sound interesting. I had fawn&white Runners a while back and they were such fun! I'll email.

I have a BEI female for sale. She's about 4 weeks old, she's a little skittish, but I can see that she would tame with the right person. That's not me I have the patience of a gnat.

LOL!! I wish I did - I have 3 and all three turned out to be hens - no good with out a drake

If you can't find one locally you might try Holderread's in the fall. They only sell aduld BEI's but you could get a nice one from them. The drake in the pair I got is really something. My muscovy hen runs & he chases her too. it's hysterical to watch.

Hi! You can see pics here: Melanie's BEI (that's where my drake came from).
Her pictures are great, but the camera can't capture what an amazing iridescent green they are.
