Hey there BYC Communities!!!

My name is Olivia and I am new to this whole thing. But I have been on this website in search of answers along the way as I've raised my beautiful Henrietta.

Unfortunately, I am moving... and I can't take her with me. I've had her since she was a duckling, and loved her for 3 years now. It is truly heartbreaking seeing her go. But I really trust I can find the best new care taker for her here on BYC!

I am located in Baltimore, MD. But I am willing to transport her personally to who ever decides to adopt her. (within reasonable distance)
Henrietta is a gorgeous 3 year old, female Mallard duck.
Her wings have been clipped recently.
She has been domesticated indoors her whole life so far. (minus play times outside in various weather and dips in our pool!

She was also deemed very healthy by an aviation specialist veterinarian a little less than a year ago.
She lays eggs about 2 or 3 times a month on average.

Henrietta is the sweetest animal, and she loves cuddling and being held. She stares in the mirror a lot so she must know just how beautiful she is, too!

I'm looking for someone to love her and provide her with the company of other ducks. I want her to live a long, happy life.

If interested please contact me!

Here is an example of one of our photo shoots! She LOVES the camera...

Wow! Henrietta is most definitely a looker. I hope you find someone to take her. I would consider it, as we have 2 drake Rouens and only one female. Last night we hatched out 4 ducklings, with more on the way.

Good luck finding a great home for her!

Thank you! Your duck family sounds wonderful. Let me know if you change your mind! :)

I can give her a place! I have 9 acres and a pond. I have a khaki female who needs a friend after her mate recently died. She has been hanging out with the chickens and needs someone to teach her how to be a duck again! I live in Catlett, VA. If you deliver, you can check out where she will be living at as a pet or we can meet someplace!
