Looking for a published list of foods to feed chickens

Commercial, nutritionally complete Feed. Anything else is "treats" and should be limited to not more than 10% of the daily diet, by weight at maximum, less is strongly encouraged.

The list of things a chicken should NOT eat is much shorter, and honestly, if food is available, chickens generally won't eat things toxic to them in quantity sufficient to make them symptomatic. They are more likely to have dietary issues from eating too much of things they love (treats), and causing dietary imbalance in that way.

My pasture [work in progress, much delayed of late] has a number of things in it which chickens shouldn't eat - and they don't. Of greater concern is the things like the grapes, mulberry bushes, blackberries which they can eat, and do eat, where excess consumption could really throw their diet out of whack.

At least the mulberry has a short season. Mine get over-treated seasonally...first the loquats then the mulberry. Fortunately they did not find the pears this year...the deers do a pretty good job of keeping those cleaned up tho.

Yeah, the mulberry are now, on the backs of the blackberry last month, the blueberry the month before (few of those, thankfully - the bushes are still young), the grapes (also young vines) that I planted are just coming into season (as are the native grapes I did not plant, which are somewhat more extensive).

Weird. My mulberry fruits in the spring.
What I'm calling Mulberry Bushes apparently isn't a true mulberry at all. Another poster identified them as "American Beautyberry", but my cell phone ap (Pictue This!) keeps claiming they are mulberry bushes, so its stuck in my head.

Must look almost identical. Pretty sure my app is the same and correctly identified mine.
