Hi All,

Anyone selling or know where I can get a Pullet Polish Frizzle (Buff preferred)?? They are so cute! I am just in love with them.

Thanks!

Please don't give out your email address or other personal info. BYC has 200,000 members and some of them might be spammers, etc. that pop up now and then until they are detected. If you want someone to safely respond to you have them PM you. On your community profile they can click on that and you would reply thru there - the messages back and forth are just between you and that individual.

In an old issue of Backyard Poultry magazine they had a feature on a woman who had buff frizzles, I'm not sure but I felt she was in Ohio. That caused my friend to start a hunt for one, and she got a black frizzle from someone in Minnesota that arrived very sickly and all the feathers gone on her head. She came in absolutely filfthy condition with poo on every part of her. Bad cough, respiratory problems etc. She died shortly therafter and the seller said he would replace but never did.

I mention this because she took the hen even tho he said it was the only one he had - he never told her age or anything. She was too desperate to get one. Please take your time and get one from a reputable breeder not a chicken mill, that has a thousand different breeds of duck, geese, chickens etc and is waiting for the sucker that will buy his rejects for a hefty price.

You could type "Frizzles" in the search box and see what comes up. When you have 20 posts you can participate in BYC forum buy, sell, trade . Now and then frizzles of various breeds are offered, I've seen them.

When I have a chance I will see if I can locate that article and woman who had the buffs, and get back to you thru PM.

You might also go to "where am I, where are you." thread - find you state and post on there - asking for help finding one. Meanwhile you could look thru the selling forum and see if anywhere there does have frizzles at this time.

Well I'm back. Donna McCormick of BluegrassBantams.com is the person that had the frizzles in the article I mentioned. I have tried to bring up the website and have had no luck. When I google her it refers me to the Bantam club and will give no info out because I am not a member. Maybe she isn't raising chickens anymore. I tried.
