I did a small incubation with only three eggs just to try it out. I know, it wasn't very many!
They all developed most of the way but two didn't make it. I now have one new little two day old friend but I'd like to get them a companion since they will be alone when I'm at work. I'm in Colorado near Salida. I'm happy to drive out if need be! Just let me know prices, area, breeds, so on.
I just don't want my little dude to be alone. For now they have a warm brooder and a mirror. :jumpy

Are there any farm supply stores in your area, that sell live chicks??
I know many offer it just seasonally. In my area, they have a 6 chick minimum. I think since prices skyrocketed in recent times.. the number reduced to 4.
