Looking for automatic vacuum/robot vacuum recommendations

Howdy all!

A friend of mine is looking to get a robot vacuum and was asking me if I knew much about them. I’ve had a few in the past, however I don’t remember what brands. I did some searching here and noticed a few people talking about them in the last year or so, but no specific brand recommendations. Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

In 2017, we bought a Shark Ion robotic vacuum. She still works. There's an app on our phone and she's Alexa enabled too. If this one ever dies, I will buy another one of the same brand.

It was only used on hardwood floors so that goes easier on them, and once hubby had to fix a wheel but I don't remember what was wrong with it in the first place. All in all, it sure has held up!!

I also own a shark and that thing is awesome! I’ve had for 2 years now and no problems at all. Makes my job easy and runs like a champ! I absolutely love it!

I have had Neato, Shark, and Roomba. I like the Shark the best, Neato second. My current setup is a Shark downstairs, and a Roomba that someone gave me upstairs.
