Looking for Buckeyes in SW Ohio

I am new here and have decided Buckeye's are the way to go for me here in SW Ohio. I was looking for a breed that could tolerate winter and be good layers.

I would love a few hens as it's just my husband & I but not quite sure about the rooster! I will be doing free range with coop and screened in run during the evening/winter time. I have 12 acres.

I'd be especially interested in organic birds.

I have a pair of Buckeyes for sale, and I will be in Lebanon IN on the 18th. They are about 24 wks old, I do not want to split them up. The roo is a very nice boy, very respectful, with a very soft crow. I was going to keep him just because his personality is so nice, but I am willing to let him go to a home where he will have more room to roam (I only have 2 acres).
