Looking for events in Texas

Hi,

I just got involved in chickens early this year after many years of longing. I see so many cool posts and websites about local auctions and egg swaps and shows in other states...I am jealous. Even if I don't buy, I love walking around and looking at different breeds and talking to chicken people.

Are there any events like this in Texas? I recently saw a post that listed like 30 regular events in Missouri. What's the deal?

Me Too! I've had a couple "Open Coop"'s at our place for friends & family but haven't found anything near by to go to. I know that Austin has a Coop Tour in the spring but I found out about that too late. Galveston recently legalized city hens last year but has no chicken tours on the calendar yet. Texas is a giant state. Surely something will turn up!
