looking for fertile silkie eggs for class project

I live in moncks corners sc and I am a preschool teacher,, I have chickens , but no roosters, we wish to hatch some silkie chickens in our classroom, I have a incubator, I have hatch chickes before,, I can not find anyone who is selling any fertile silkie egss locally.. can anyone help me please!! thank you for any help

Preschool hatching? I don't really think that would be a good idea. But, that is just my opinion.

Really not a bad idea,just keep out of reach of little hands. I just built my first homemade bator and my 3yr old "helped". He understands a bit, and has been really involved.

We have 23 silkie eggs in our bator due May 15, shipped eggs off ebay, and the are developing quite well!!!!!
