We had a power outage with our first batch and lost all but 6 eggs. i will be putting them in the hatcher on thursday. im really sad that i lost so many eggs and wanted to see if my hatch rate will go up but im afraid to spend more money on eggs till i see if it really was the power outage or if it was the bators fault. i can pay shipping and maybe a bit for the eggs.. if my hatch rate picks up ill be interested in buying more eggs!! thanks ahead of time

I am getting plenty of eggs and would be happy to send some to a fellow Idahoan (my mom lives in Star). If you would pay the shipping of $11.00, I will put as many as will safely fit into the medium sized flat rate box. I would say somewhere between 12 to 18 would be a safe guess.

I have not shipped any eggs before so this would be a good test for me to know how to package them. I am on my third small hatch from my eggs, they are due this weekend. All of the ones I started were fertile (a few have quit early), so I know my boys are doing their job.

I have 3 roosters-an Australorp, a New Hampshire Red and a Blue Cochin. Check my siggy for a list of my hen breeds, I like a variety in my flock.

I'm getting about 20 eggs a day so I could ship any time. I have one EE who lays a beautiful blue egg, but only every other day at this point, so if you want more than one of hers, I would need a few days to collect them.

Let me know if you're interested and happy hatching!

Try hitting up your local farmers market, they're usually cheap and about $2/doz with no shipping! Great for testing if you don't care about hatching out something specific.
