Looking for a good quality breeder of Buckeyes. The reason I'm steering away from a hatchery is that I want them for meat mostly not eggs.

I would put your state in your profile. That might help. To do that, click on your username up top, then Account Details, and scroll down to where you see "Location."

I would also try Facebook poultry groups for your state/location. There's where I have my best luck.

Welcome to BYC. Join the Buckeye Facebook group if you're looking into Buckeyes. Lots of breeders there who breed to the Standard! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61553423219700 has stock descending from Shumaker's line which won lots of awards at show. heritagemeadowsfarm.net is a small-scale conservation farm which has quality Buckeyes too. Both of them ship eggs.
