I posted this under the wrong thread title earlier (groan). New to list and first time posting.
Good morning, I live in Anchorage and am new to raising chickens in AK. In May I received my order of Buff Orpington pullets, but one is a roo. They have been raised as pets for my family and only purpose is for eggs. Since I live in the city it is only a matter of time that crowing will become a problem - especially in the summer. Is there anyone in the area that may have room for a young handsome fellow?
