Looking for laying hens

I'm looking for laying hens. Any breed. I just miss my girls and want to do it again. Still have my 7x6x6 coop with automatic chicken door and another coop 20x 15 run with 6x6 coop. 10 acres to free range. Azle area 8178one8884two

HenRescue (here on BYC) found a hen wandering in Carrolton (north of Dallas) recently. Perhaps private message her.

Also on this forum, someone in Central TX has 3 Appenzeller Spitzhauben hens to re-home. Might check with both of these folks. Maybe offer to meet halfway with someone for picking up hens.

Also, I just looked at www.rescueme.org website under "Farm Animals" category (for Texas) and someone has two hens in Galveston who need re-homing right away. That was a December listing. I suggested to the owner that they post them here on BYC if the hens haven't been adopted yet. So maybe check that website to contact the owner.
