Looking for black copper marans or other marans that will dark eggs, preferably a girl around 18-20 weeks (age of my current flock). It's ok if she hasn't started to lay yet, so long as she will in the next month or two. I have not had much luck with cuckoo marans--last one I had was mean as blazes to the rest of the flock! If you live within 30 miles or so of Sacramento and have a marans pullet, please contact me here and perhaps we can arrange to meet this weekend!
