Looking For Parakeets

Hello,

I am a long-time chicken owner and recently I've been looking to get a parakeet or two. I don't want to get them from the pet store so I've been looking for breeders. Unfortunately, finding parakeet breeders is much more difficult than chicken breeders! I don't know if anyone would be able to help me, but does anyone either know of parakeet breeders in the Kansas City area, or know of some type of website/forum that I could find a breeder on?

I am guessing you mean budgies instead of parakeet. Below is a list of bird breeders in Kansas. While they don't list budgies as a bird they have, they may well know who does have budgie.
