I was after the same coop, and had my hubby draw me up some rough plans. I built this coop. Here is the link.

Awww!!! I love it. Im working on my own now with a few modifications. I painted mine red also, like a barn. It's coming along nicely. Ill have to post pics once I'm finished. How's the metal roof doing for ya in the summer? I opted to go with shingles. I live in Texas and was afraid the metal would heat up the house in the summer months too much.

Honestly it's not bad! We have pretty bad summers here also. I just keep mister out and keep them cool, but they have trees for shade so they aren't 100% in the sun at all times.
