Looking for recommendations *Ontario, Canada*

[Playford Flats Farm]

I’m looking to buy Salmon Faverolles and Svart Hona hatching eggs, but it turns out they are both very hard breeds to come by. Does anybody know of an owner or hatchery who carries eggs or chicks and ships to/inside of Canada? Thanks in advance.

Performance Poultry has salmon faverolles for sure; I didn't see svart honas when I took a quick peek through their website. They are in the Belleville/Prince Edward county area, but you have to pick up there or at the Thunder Bay airport, they don't ship chicks otherwise within ontario. Huge selection of breeds, though.

With some luck you might just find a breeder that's close to where you live, and who can ship you some hatching eggs across the US border.

Svart Honas are indeed very hard to find... I'd check the kijiji adds and other citizen-selling sites, since they're rare in hatcheries. Sometimes it's the small backyarder who has many, while the big companies don't have any. You could get some surprises.
