I’m starting an animal husbandry club and looking for some hens. Would also be interested in other bantam breeds

Where in Hawaii? The chicken rescue group is always looking for people who are looking for chickens. Most of them are mixed breed, but occasionally someone who is moving needs to give their birds away.

Okay, most of the rescues take place on Oahu. If I see a bantam hen being offered, I'll let you know. The group is on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/217531137007501

Because not everyone loves their rescue work with chickens (they'll save anything -- including roosters) the group is private and you have to request an invite. (It's all I can do to hold my tongue sometimes. I love birds, but I'm far more practical than they are.)
