I'm looking to buy 3-4 hens and a rooster... would like them to be laying or at point of lay, but younger would be okay. I don't care if they're from hatchery stock or not, as long as they are good layers.
Would consider golden spangled or any other color if I can't find the silver spangleds. Mostly I just want some good layers that free-range well and have good feed-to-eggs conversion, but I like them to be pretty as well!
I'm located in middle northern IN, and I don't want to have to travel super far if I can avoid it.
