I have some hens laying real pretty pink eggs, but not sure if the offspring will lay the same color with rooster being welsummer? What do you think? I could put some in with the RIR when I ship them Monday if you want?

Ameraucanas don't lay pink eggs.

Easter Eggers do.

I would highly recommend breeds like Salmon Faverolles or Jersey Giants though. Always a consistent gorgeous light pink color.

Of all the many breeds I have in my free range flock, the Partridge Rocks lay pink eggs for me. Really cool next to brown and blues in a carton or on the table.
I do not breed anything that lays a pink egg. I thought about it but I have way too many breeds already.

Well I guess a easter egger then but I did buy the flock as being ameracaunas. She was a buff red color and the others are blue and black.
But since she is gone I am only getting blue/green eggs now..

I would love to maybe get some again that laid a pink egg.

It just added color to my collection of 60 plus eggs a day.
I think I could feed my whole town with eggs and they are not even all laying yet.. Wow what was I thinking
