I'm fairly new to the BYC, so I hope I'm doing this right! I'm looking for a small amount (maybe 2 or 3) of show quality silkie pullets, with at least one being preferably white. I'm pretty flexible with color though. I understand that shipping small orders is difficult, so I can actually pick them up if they're somewhere around or between Maryland and NY (I'm moving from MD to Upstate NY this summer). I actually need them a couple days old around June 4th, due to an order of other chicks thats coming in then. I might end up giving the silkies their own little coop, but I'd like the girls to grow up together so they get along better when they free-range. (the other chicks will be standard size). I'm new to the BYC so I wasn't sure if you can place a wanted ad for something date-specific, but I figure I'd check. Also, getting female chicks is preferable, but since not many breeders seem to sex them, I'm somewhat flexible with that too.
