Hello all! Been awhile since I’ve posted & I hope this is the place to do!

i have a rare opportunity to acquire & breed a very rare breed of chicken here in Canada & I am looking for adivise, tips, yes or no, etc The breed? The Golden Phoenix. I found a place that has recently be able to join a conservancy program for this breed after 20 years of trying, that’s how rare this bird seems to be here.
Anyone know this breed? Advise? Thoughts? I do know one thing, they are GORGEOUS !

If you get good lines, they're constantly broody. Give them lots of hidden spots to lay and you'll have all the chick you want. They aren't amazing with the cold (I'm always losing combs and toenails from both sexes) but they do okay besides that. They also love to roost and run around. They do best if not kept in small spaces
