I'm looking into building a duck pond for my 3 adult muscovies, and 7 babies. I've been using a kid pool, but they just aren't as durable as they were when I was a little kid and it already has a hole in it. I don't have a lot of money to spend on it. In fact, the cheaper the better. Free would be great. =P (yeah, right. I know.) What are some cheap ways to build duck ponds? I was looking into concrete, but after comparing I think a pond liner would be cheaper. I know it's not as durable, but would a tarp work? I already have one of those. Would this be a good investment? I don't know if it would make enough difference to make up for the price. How do I clean it out? I don't understand how to set up the pipes and drains and stuff. Is there a way to it without pipes and drains?
