By September I'll have Black/Blue Ameraucanas with true blue eggs available for you, I'll also have Marans/Ameraucana hybrids for really good Olive Eggers.

Just make sure you know all the permits and stuff you need to take the eggs back to your country.

Gosh, lots of questions, mostly out of curiosity!

Can you actually get a permit to import them to the Bahamas? What are the requirements?
Would a seller need to have an export permit and veterinary/NPIP certification in order to sell to you?
How would you transport them? Most airlines x-ray carry on, which would kill the fertility levels.
And if shipped as baggage, are the dogs checking luggage going to alert on them? ( That would be a huge problem, because then the packaging wouldn't be what is was at first.)

Also, you say "Blue deleware ( pure )"

As far as I know, true heritage Delawares don't come in blue. If you are talking about a Delaware Blue Hen, (aka the Blue Hen of Delaware), they are a much different from a true Delaware and are NOT a recognized breed.

I have Delaware Blue Hens, so if you want more info, click on the link in my sig line.

Tell you what, you pay my air fare to the Bahamas and I'll be happy to deliver eggs to you!

Shoot, send a sailboat and I'll sail them to you!

I wish, that's a beautiful part of the world.

Illia, I agree, but the keyword there is "should". Priority Mail is really not working like it did even last year. I ship a lot, and it's taking 4-5 days now.

thanks guys. ion regards to the permit. the permit is signed by the dept. of agriculture and states thet i will be able to bring back eggs while on my trip to the usa. I look forward to visiting. Next year when we do our next trip i hope that we can stay for 3 weeks instead of 1 so that we can drive cross country . That would be awsome.
