Excited to be here and learn all I can!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I just got 4 Easter egger / Olive eggers (was told they were all mixed together) in April!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Just 4, for now 🤣
(3) What breeds do you have?

Either Easter eggers or Olive eggers

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Honestly, it’s been incredibly therapeutic for me, and has helped a lot with my depression

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I love photography!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I’m a stay at home mom to two little girls, we have 4 dogs (a Malinois mix, hound mix, shepherd husky, and a German shepherd), a cat, and a snake. the kids are very excited about the chickens.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Hello and welcome to BYC! Yes I agree chickens are very therapeutic , and can help cure depression!! Its nice to meet you, Im glad you joined us. :frow

They are much more difficult to photograph than people! I have a few photos I just posted in another thread but they aren’t the best, I need to keep practicing to get great pictures of them!
