Looking to get into breeding paint silkies

HI. I'm hoping this thread still gets visitors! I am looking to get into breeding paint silkies. I love the breed and there seems to be a need for paints. I'm looking for information on getting the best spots. There seems to be conflicting articles and I know the color is relatively new in the USA and much is still unknown on the color.
Has anyone here been breeding?

I know someone in southern washington state who breeds them though I dont think they sell birds or eggs but I also have never really seen them in shows besides state fair since I dont think they can win champion or reserve They're very beautiful and similar to splashes except instead of blue spotting its black and honestly I prefer it over the blue since its more eye catching!
