Hello,
I have two laying hens (a Barred Plymouth Rock and an Olive Egger) whom I need to re-home. Please know that they both carry the Marek's virus (they were supposed to be vaccinated, but I lost 3 of their buddies to Marek's-these two are entirely healthy though). If you have other chickens already, you should not add them to your flock. If you do not and don't have any chickens, you are ok--they are absolutely healthy, but they most likely carry the virus. They are excellent layers and very friendly. I have to move and won't be able to take them. I am located between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Please contact me for more information. Thank you
