Squirrel stew sounds like the most effective solution. They can enter through very small holes, and will create holes where none exist.

Squirrels = bushy-tailed rats that dig holes in my yard. Can't stand the little buggers. Consider getting a squirrel-inator and bait it with eggs. It's basically a small metal trap that they can get into but not out of.

Shoot them buggers. Then fry like you do chicken, then make gravy from the drippings. Place the squirrel in a pan, cover with the gravy and bake for and hour and half at 350 degrees or until the hind legs are tender.

THEN pour that over homemade dumplings. Now that is some good eats. (mouth watering).
