Hi folks, my flock of Buckeyes are 12 weeks old ( 24 of them) , have been in their coop/run for 5 weeks and there are loose feathers laying around the run and coop. The feathers are all large, like wing or tail size, No one looks bald or picked on and I haven't seen any aggressive behaviour. I have seen a bird with a feather(wing) sticking out then next day it isn't sticking out anymore. So is a normal shedding type thing or do I have a secret aggressor? The roos haven't fully shown themselves yet so I don't want to cull until I'm sure who is who. I think I will have 6-7 roos, the rest ladies. Any insight please?
